VICTORIAN STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS
Congratulations to the BMXMAD team for their great efforts at the Victorian Championships over the weekend.
Results: Millie 4th, 1st, 2nd crashed in final, Wade 5th, 3rd, 5th in motos, Greg 1st in 20" and Cruiser, Emily 5th A Women, Taylor 6th, 6th, 6th in motos, Bodi 7th AA Men. Graeme 6th in 20", 8th in 24", Russ 6th, 8th, 6th in motos, Jamie 1st 20", 8th Cruiser. Congrats to Millie for winning the dynamite series in the 11 girls. Well Done all.
SHEPPARTON BMX CLUB
Thanks to the Shepparton BMX Club for their 'last minute' race meeting held on the weekend. Congratulations to David and Jamie for making the AA main. Also well done to Erin, Emily and Tay for some great racing in the Pro Ladies. Wade mixed it up with the A men and Greg won the 'ladies' cruiser class - hmmmmm.

BENDIGO 'GOLD RUSH'
Congratulations to Bodi Turner for taking out the AA Pro Main on the weekend in Bendigo.
Bodi's racing was fast and furious up against some of Victorias best riders. Brock and Levi were on the pace giving Bodi a good run for his money.

Great results from the BMXMAD Team. Bodi found out how mixing it with Kama is tuff work! Wade rode with great determination and coming out 1st. Erin had some close racing with Jaqueline. David and Jamie were mixing it up with the A Men. Greg rode with the smoothness of Dr Smooth all day and Millie smiled around the track winning every race!
Shepparton - Aug 29th
Finally a great day to race! No rain, no wind...beautiful. The team put in some fine efforts during the day.
Erin was giving Jaqueline a good run in the open ladies, Jamie and David were battling it out with the states finest A men all day with great results. Greg was racing the younger men and keeping up with them and Bodi and Tom were very impressive in the AA mens racing all day.
Millie came 1st all day in the 10 girls, Wade made some 'signature moves' to finish 2nd in the 13 boys. All in all - a great days racing.

Wodonga - Aug 1st
We headed up to Wodonga with excitement for a great days racing. Unfortunately the weather wasn't on our side and the meeting was called off after the 3rd moto.
Congrats to Millie Reed - winning all the 11 girls motos, Tom Siinmaa, David Lyon and Jamie Mahuika -all getting into the 14+ mens final. We were all cold and wet and couldn't wait to head home with the car heater on to thaw out. It is winter after all.

What a great event!! The atmosphere was awesome and it really got you inspired watching the pro's race.
Wade had some bad luck and slid out in the last turn in the 8th finals for the 12 boys. Bad Luck!
Bodi also had some bad luck with someone getting out of shape in front of him in the second straight, he unclipped and by the time he regained his momentum the other riders had passed them. He made up a spot in the third straight and another in the last straight but not enough to progress to the semi.
Thanks to all our team for you help and efforts while we were there! It was great to experience it with you. |
